How To Turn Paper Plates Into A Lion Painting?

A wonderful activity that lets your little one enhance her creativity and fine motor skills. It also shows them how they can use everyday, household items to explore their creativity and create art!

Materials

• Paper plates
• Paint
• Paintbrush
• Fork

Instructions

1. Before you start this fun activity, spread some newspapers because things are about to get messy!
2. Squirt some yellow, orange, white, brown and black paints on a paper plate and get your little one ready for the activity.
3. Give your child an empty paper plate and the plate with the paints, and have them paint the paper plate yellow. Make sure they don’t paint the edge.
4. Next, show them how to dip the fork in the orange paint, press it down on the edge of the plate and have them repeat the step until it’s complete.
5. Once the yellow paint has dried, let them make the lion’s eyes, nose, and whiskers to complete the painting.
