Materials

1. Coloured paper
2. Glue
3. Scissors
4. Black sketch pen
5. Small pom poms or decorative items

Here’s what you need to do

1. Fold the coloured paper vertically to make a card.
2. Trace your child’s hand or let him trace yours. Make sure you do it at an angle to keep the wrist on the folded side.

3. Next, draw the antenna and cut the butterfly.
4. On a different coloured paper, draw a circle for the butterfly’s head and its body, and cut them out.

5. Paste the butterfly’s head and body on the first cut-out and give it to your child.

6. Give him paint, small pom-poms, buttons, etc., to decorate the butterfly.
7. Write down a sweet message inside the card, and your Butterfly Handprint Card is ready!
