Handmade gifts and cards are the best, aren’t they? Let’s make a card that’s not just handmade, but also carries an imprint of your hands, or rather your little fingers. This fun activity for your child will teach them how to make cards for their mom, dad or friends. While doing so, they will improve their artistic abilities and will develop their fine motor and sensory skills.

ADVERTISEMENTS
- Take white paper and draw some stems, leaves, and yellow circles. This will make it easier for your little one to finger paint the flowers.
- Next, take a few colours on a plate, and let your child dip her finger in the paint to make the petals of the flowers.

- Once she’s done painting the petals, you can show her how to stick a button on the centre of each flower to decorate it. If your child is very young, be careful that she doesn’t accidentally put the button in her mouth!
- Let the paint dry and tada! Your card is ready. You can write a sweet message to complete it!
