Materials:
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Paints/crayons/glitter
Instructions:
- This activity is very simple! First, take your paper plate and fold it in half.
- Next, take a pencil, and draw half of a large heart on one side of the folded plate (see image). Make sure that the heart touches the fold and the bottom touches the inner rim of the plate.
- Then, carefully start cutting out the inner rim of the plate and follow along the line of the heart. You can begin from either side.
- The finished product should look like this!
- Then, let your child decorate the heart shape hat. Let her paint, colour, and decorate her hat any way she likes!
- Once she’s satisfied with how it looks, pop the hat onto her head for her to parade around in!
Wasn’t that a fun way to pass some time?
