ADVERTISEMENTS
- Let’s begin by pouring hot water into a heat-proof container. It doesn’t have to be boiling hot!
- Put three or four wooden candy sticks in the hot water. Let them soak for 15 minutes. The hot water will make the sticks flexible and easy to bend!

- In the meantime, get some glass jars ready.
- After 15 minutes, carefully take out the wooden sticks.
- Take a glass jar, and using its inner rim, bend one stick in a circular manner around the rim (see image for reference).

- Keep the rounded wooden stick inside the rim. Wait for about 15 minutes or so for it to dry.

- With the help of your child, take out the rounded sticks from the jars. Make sure they are completely dry!

- Once they are dry, it’s time to start decorating! Let your child paint the round sticks with favourite colours, or use colourful tape to make mono-coloured or patterned bracelets, or use stickers for a fun look. An additional sprinkling of glitter will bring lovely little sparkles to the bracelets!

The wooden bracelets are ready to wear! Wow, wasn’t that a great little project?
