Materials
- Paper plate
- Coloured tissue paper
- White paper
- Black marker
- Blue paint
- Tinfoil
- Stapler
- Scissors
- Glue
Here’s what you need to do
- Let your child unleash his inner artist by painting the paper plate with the blue paint.
- Once the paint dries, cut out a triangle to make the fish’s mouth and staple the triangle on the opposite side to make the tail.

- While the paint is drying, show your little one how to cut the tissue paper and tinfoil to make the fish’s scales.
- Also, cut out an oval from the white paper and make a black circle on it to make the fish’s eye.
- Have your child stick the scales and the eye on the plate to complete the fish’s body, and your paper plate fish is ready!
What a cool activity, right?
