A cute little craft to enhance your child’s creativity!

Age Range – 4 – 6 years
Primary Skills – Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination
Materials:
- Coloured paper/plain paper/magazine pages
- Pencil
- Scissors and glue
Instructions:

- Take a long strip of paper.
- Help your child roll this paper along its length, and secure the end with glue or tape. Once that’s done, help him make vertical cuts into the roll, more than halfway down its length.
- Then, start to slowly take apart each strip away from the center. Spread them out carefully. These are now the tree’s branches.
- Next, from coloured paper, plain paper, or magazine pages, help your child draw and cut out leaves for each branch. Paste them on carefully. Let the glue dry completely.
- As a last step, you can apply some clay at the bottom of the tree, and stick your tree on top of cabinets or dressers!
