The Three Spinners Story For Children

Once upon a time, there was a poor girl who lived with her mother. One day, she was summoned by the queen to the castle. “I need you to spin three bags of flax into gold by tomorrow morning,” said the queen. “If you succeed, I will reward you handsomely.”

The girl was terrified because she knew she could not spin flax into gold. When she returned home, she sat down at her spinning wheel, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not do it.

As she sat there feeling hopeless, three strange women appeared before her. Each had a unique appearance: one had a broad foot, another had a large underlip, and the third had a broad thumb.

“Do not worry,” said the first spinner. “We can help you.”

“We ask for nothing but your kindness,” said the first spinner with a warm smile. “Continue to be as kind as you are now.”

Years later, when she married the king’s son, she invited the three spinners to her wedding as her “aunts.” During the celebration, they revealed their true identities and explained how they acquired their unusual features from spinning.

And so, through her generosity and hard work, she created a legacy of kindness that lasted for generations.
