He shouted down at the lamb that he was making the water dirty for him to drink. To this, the innocent little lamb replied that he was mistaken as the water was flowing down from the wolf to him and not from him to the wolf.

The wolf began thinking again of some other plan to talk to the little lamb so that he could kill him. After a few moments, the wolf said to the lamb that he was angry that about a year ago, the lamb abused him. To this, the little lamb replied that he was not born a year ago, so it was not possible. The wolf replied immediately that then it must be his father. The little lamb apologised on behalf of his father, but the wolf accused him of talking back to him. And attacked the little lamb and killed him. The wolf fooled the innocent little lamb and enjoyed eating him.
