What Is Weather?
Let’s read the weather meaning in English for kids.
The way the air and the atmosphere feels is called weather. Weather includes the temperature, wind strength, rain, sun, hail, fog, cloud etc. The weather can change regularly and is different in different seasons across countries.
Types Of Weather
In this section, we will look at types of weather conditions that result in the sunshine, rain, fog, frost, wind, snow, etc. Let’s read!
1. Sunny
When there are no clouds blocking the sunlight and the temperature is warm. Generally, we experience this type of weather in Spring or Summer season. Children can go outside and play or enjoy an outdoor picnic in this type of weather.
2. Cloudy
When the clouds get in the way of the sun, the weather is called cloudy. Cloudy weather can be warm (if there is humidity) or cold (as there is not much sunlight). This type of weather is common in the Autumn and Winter season.
3. Rainy
When the large clouds in the sky produce rain, the weather is rainy. When it rains lightly, we feel normal, but when it rains heavily, we may feel a little cold. We should wear a waterproof coat or carry an umbrella on rainy days.
4. Snowy
When the precipitation falls as snow, the weather is snowy. The low temperature causes the water in clouds to freeze, and the water becomes snowflakes and falls down. The snowy weather is too cold, but people also enjoy activities like sledging, snowman making, ice skating, etc., in this weather.

Outside & In
It snowed.
It rained.
Then the sun shone bright,
and I went out to play.
But when I got out there,
it started raining again,
so I returned inside and waited
for the showers to end.
I got out my toys
to play on the floor,
when I noticed the sun
was shining once more.
So I put on my coat
and opened the door,
to see massive hailstones
falling. Therefore,
my day is consisting
of outside and in,
then outside, and inside,
and outside again.
Given the uncertainty,
I just can’t wait to find
what happens when the weather
finally makes up its mind.
